| The High Temperature Ceramic Coatings were designed for protection of metal components against high temperature heat oxidation while providing thermal insulation. This coating maintains excellent adhesion even after repeated high temperature cycles. As higher temperatures are reached, the ceramic compounds flux, becoming harder and more abrasion resistant. These coatings provide superior protection against corrosive environments and thermal shock.
TITANIUM coating has shown excellent performance in temperatures from 1200°F to 1800°F with little or no change in color.
This coating gives components an "old school" original look that some car enthusiasts are looking for. It looks particularly good on cast manifolds. |
